“There are people and organizations who aren’t willing to do what we do,” said Laurie. She believes in the power of service and going above and beyond the call of duty, both inside and outside the office.
Case in point: she volunteers for an organization called Heroes for the Homeless, where volunteers deliver much needed supplies to hard to reach homeless populations.
Laurie’s sense of humor and joy of service make her a perfect fit with the CWM team. Her duties include customer relations, office management, and accounting functions to assist team members and clients alike.
Laurie was born and raised south of Chicago, Illinois. After "trying out" several states, she has decided there is no place as beautiful as the Pacific Northwest. Laurie graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration and continues to learn on many levels. She has worked for the past 25 years in the capacity of administration and accounting in industries including banking, medical, children’s book publishing, and yacht chartering.
Laurie loves spending time with her family, including her daughter Nicole, son-in-law Eric, and granddaughter Ava. Laurie is very active in her community and supports a number of organizations, some of which include Pigs Peace Sanctuary, Heroes for the Homeless, Mattea's Joy, and the Edmonds Center for the Arts. She enjoys watching movies, laughing and having fun with family and friends, hiking in the forest, yoga, tennis, and anything to do with animals.
