I love working at CWM – everyone has a great sense of humor, tremendous work ethics and tremendous dedication to our clients, which is something I am very proud of. Our friendly, caring outlook and different strengths all contribute to developing comfortable, reliable relationships. Every day I try to do little things that will make someone’s day a little brighter or a little easier or make them smile or laugh.
Lisa’s friendly “What can I do to help?” attitude has been a hallmark of both her professional and personal life.
Lisa’s service career started in the financial world as she worked her way through college. After graduating from the University of California at Irvine and then spending a year abroad studying in Greece, she moved to the Seattle area to begin her “grown-up career.” Over the course of her career, Lisa has held Series 7 and Series 63 certifications, as well as notary public certification. Her well-rounded background includes retail sales, tavern-tending, and administrative and customer service in the stocks, bonds and insurance industry; and most recently a 14-year stint as a division secretary and administrative assistant to a dean in local higher education. Her friendly and outgoing personality has been an asset to all of her customer-focused roles. Co-workers have described her as a resource, always willing to help and take on new projects, she goes the extra mile helping others on their path to success while creating friendly and reliable relationships in the process.
Lisa says her favorite part of any day is the time she spends with her husband Ed and their deaf dog, Bumble. Lisa and Ed are certified therapy dog handlers and both volunteer with College Dogs; Lisa says they regularly do therapy dog visits with Bumble so he can “share smiles and joy.” She relaxes by going on long walks with her husband and dog, gardening, spending time with friends and going to Sounders games.
